When you think about the continuously imagined, spiritual understanding of the end of the world and why God gave artists a Divine gracing to communicate a beatific vision, Heaven takes you up to the clouds. Here all the angels sing to you while gods and Divine beings take your hand and run with you. Visions of Heaven And Hell have been a major part of visual art since its inception. In earlier art as with Ancient Egyptian and Ancient Greek, effigies of gods were as common as Christian religious themes are with Western art. Gods were worshipped like the stories of the bible and were thought to reside amongst us especially in temples dedicated to the gods as the Christian story of Jesus resides in the artwork of Christian churches where God is worshipped. At the end of the world, God will be our Saviour.
