There were two ways to communicate the feeling of love for God in Renaissance Italy. Firstly you could think about the way to God and secondly you could put this into practise. One way to do this task would be to create an ascension service to God and another would be to communicate the heart. My feeling is that to communicate the knowledge of the heart would be of more benefit to God. The other way is to simply feel God and communicate a message of love to our divine Lord. The only way to understand how to correspond to the message sent to your heart by God would be to engage in an activity of extreme worth. Sculpting appears to have been this kind of communication closer than most would attain. This is something that most evil people would not attain too as God would not want them in Heaven.
