Roses are something of a sweet, useful gift for the Italian women in Italy who are like goddesses for the Italian men and treated accordingly with useful divine gifts. They are also treated to gorgeous fruits from the divine gardens of Italy, especially in Springtime with beautiful divine fruits of the earth and the Virgin Mary with apricots and clotted cream. They would also have a lot of nuts available for Christmas cakes or panforte. There would also be honey from wild forests where you would find natural beehives. So, this is a golden ascension to God via the golden nectar.
