The rose garden is not for those with a fair tread. Always throughout the big monastery history of illuminated manuscripts and their writers, often nominated as artists, nominating the celestial sphere of reason seemed to be taken to the wrong philosophy of thinking. Almost where religious beliefs gets all tangled up with men of learning not enjoying a sexual life so the rose garden seems to meet the black arts of Hell more quickly than the devil. Perhaps they should have given flowers away to a friend in the outskirts of the monastery walls. Did they not have female company at all? Maybe with the Benedictine orders they were allowed a social day with the Benedictine nuns. The rose garden in France nominates the high end of society with named rosebushes to celebrate their life after they have passed through, the seed of philosophy for the newly born or to carry on the line.
