The Arena Chapel (Cappella degli Scrovegni) was a place of extreme spiritual wealth and a really special place to visit. You felt the garden of rising to Christ through God's heart occurred here, a meeting of the Christian heart with God. The colours and the rich earthly blue take you through God's heart to him, a transcendence to Heaven, the Heaven on high but down through dark matter. You feel Giotto took you to the centre of the heart to Heaven.
